I Am a Camera - by DELTANOVA

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

I Am a Camera is a 1951 Broadway play by John Van Druten adapted from Christopher Isherwood's 1939 novel Goodbye to Berlin, which is part of The Berlin Stories. The title is a quote taken from the novel's first page:

"I am a camera with its shutter open, quite passive, recording, not thinking. A line that inspired me to make this poster.

In the poster, there's a nod to Liza Minnelli's iconic eye makeup seen in the 1972 movie Cabaret.......Both the musical (1966) and movie versions of Cabaret (1972) were adapted from the play I Am a Camera.
